# Marketing operations · experience and example brief

Richie Lin · Experience and work samples

My work connects campaign audits, audience segments, onboarding plans, and repeatable research workflows. I’m interested in helping marketing teams make those moving parts easier to manage.

## Relevant experience

### Lifecycle planning

Defined audience segments and a three email onboarding plan with KPIs for clicks, petition signatures, and event registrations.

Working principle: Audience segments, message timing, and event definitions belong in the same plan.

### Workflow automation

Used n8n and Gemini agents to connect competitor monitoring with Google Sheets updates.

Working principle: Repeatable research needs a consistent record format and review step.

### Campaign reporting quality

Developed a five KPI dashboard and flagged advertising spend without recorded results.

Working principle: Missing measurement should remain visible in an operating report.

## Illustrative brief · proposed approach

How should a new audience move from sign up to its first meaningful action?

Inputs: Consent rules, audience definitions, existing messages, event definitions, and campaign ownership.

1. Map the proposed journey, entry criteria, consent checks, and exit conditions.
2. Document message purpose, audience rules, campaign tags, and a review owner for each step.
3. QA the journey and prepare a reporting view before proposing a limited pilot.

Proposed deliverable: An onboarding map, campaign checklist, and KPI specification.

Evaluation: Track delivery and intended actions using agreed definitions. Review unsubscribes as a guardrail.
