Method sample / Competitive intelligence
Research review workflow
An illustrative way to keep a public source, research note, and review decision together. It relates to the market intelligence work in my Wayfair/Extern project.
01 · The problem
Research notes need their source and context.
A useful review record includes the source URL, the time checked, the observation, the question it raises, and an assigned reviewer. Keeping those fields together makes follow up easier.
02 · The proposed workflow
Choose an approved public source, capture an observation, write a focused review question, assign a reviewer, and record the decision in a queue.
The on page example shows the record format and sequence. It is a proposed workflow rather than a claim of a deployed monitoring service.
