01 · The business question

Where should the organization test regional expansion, and how should outreach support it?

02 · My contribution

  • Used Excel to study 2,857 stakeholder records alongside regional child care research. Compared areas for a possible expansion test.
  • Reviewed 74 Instagram posts, 48 email sends, and contact activity. Used those findings to define audience groups and plan three introductory emails.
  • Defined measures for clicks, petition signatures, and event registrations. Designed four advertising concepts and a proposed mobile signup page with local messages and consent fields.
  • Revised recommendation slides and a presentation script after staff feedback to make the next steps clearer.

03 · The finding

Recommended testing outreach in two areas: Albany, Schenectady and Troy, and Utica and Rome. The recommendation connected local research with a plan for reaching people in each area.

04 · The decision

Use clicks, petition signatures, and event registrations to review the proposed expansion test. Decide what to measure before sending the messages.

Learning notes

A market recommendation needs an operating plan.

  • Regional context matters alongside stakeholder counts. Both help explain why a limited pilot is worth testing.
  • A recommendation becomes more actionable when audience segments, messages, a sign up journey, and KPIs are defined together.

A next questionEvaluate the proposed two market pilot using a consistent set of clicks, petition signatures, and event registrations.

05 · Work delivered

  • Two market pilot recommendation
  • Audience segments and three email plan
  • Four paid social concepts and mobile signup prototype
  • Revised presentation slides and script
